After-School Program: Collins Career Center teachers teach after-school make-up classes in each of the core subject areas (Math, Science, Social studies and English) and also P.E. and Health. The two after-school sessions last for nine weeks each semester Monday through Thursday and cost only $50.00 per class. Students can make-up two classes per session. The first session begins in September. The second session begins in January. Transportation is provided back to the students’ home high school where they can be picked up. All students need to do is attend the very first session (meet in the cafeteria right after the bell rings to end the school day) and then the teachers will direct them to the classroom they will be assigned. Attendance is mandatory in order to receive credit.
