The percentage completed determines the percentage of tuition retained and/or refund due.

Equipment, tools, textbooks, and other miscellaneous school-related items cannot be returned to the Collins Career Center; therefore, no refunds will be issued for such items.

Refunds will be issued in the following distribution order:

1. Stafford / Plus Loan Program

2. Federal Pell Grant Program

3. Sponsors (WIA, Voc Rehab, etc.)

4. Student

A Student must contact the Financial Aid Office to find out if he or she is entitled to a refund.  If the student is entitled to a refund, the Financial Aid Office will process the paperwork and send the request to the Treasurer’s office.  The refund check will be given to the Financial Aid Office in approximately 14 working days.  The check will either be mailed to the student or the student may pick up the check.

Examples of the application of the school’s refund policy are available in the Financial Aid office.
