Heating and Air Conditioning

 

1-2 Years  September-June  900-1800 Hours
Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-10:00pm

                          

 

The Heating and Air Conditioning program teaches the skills required to install, repair, and maintain light commercial and residential heating and cooling systems.  This course covers classroom and laboratory experiences including, but not limited to, Applied Communications, Applied Math, Employability Skills, and the following specialized courses:

  • Proper Use of Tools and Materials

  • Soft Solders

  • Fare, Swedge, Bend Tubing

  • Water Pipes

  • Gas, Oil, Electric Furnaces

  • Central Air

  • Water Heater

  • Fuse Boxes

  • Ceiling Fans

  • Receptacles, Volt, Arnp, OHM Meters

  • Refrigerant EPA Certification

  • Window, Auto, Central, A/C

  • Refrigerators

  • Pop & Ice Machines

  • Insulation

  • Dehumidifiers

  • Humidifiers

  • Duct Work

  • Chimney Pipes

  • Heat Pump
