There are many employment opportunities
in the area of Law Enforcement including police officers,
prison guards, insurance companies, security agencies,
government security, and highway patrol (with additional
training). The Law Enforcement program qualifies the student
to take the Ohio examination for Law Enforcement officers.
Enrollment requirements include a background check and
fingerprinting, pre-testing, personal interview, verification
of valid drivers' license with a good driving record, and
applicant must NOT have any felony convictions. The pre-test
is given on Mondays at 3:00pm for a fee of $5.00. To
register, please call in advance. The course outline and
subject areas are approved by the Ohio Peace Officers Training
Commission. All cadets must pass a physical conditioning
assessment before taking the state certification exam. Areas
