The nursing assistant
portion of this program is located at the Chesapeake campus.
Cross-training is the wave of the
future in health care and the Patient Care Technician Program
is on the cutting edge of this trend. The Patient Care
Technician program offers graduates the opportunity to pursue
a career in health care with multiple certification and
skills. Graduates may take the certification tests for State
Tested Nurse Assistant, First Aid/ CPR, EKG Registry, and
Phlebotomy. This program prepares graduates to work in
nursing homes, home health settings, hospitals, clinics, and
doctors' offices. Courses offered as part of this program
