Procedure for WorkKeys Testing

  1.  All applicants must first take the Work Keys Test. Applicants need to call 740-532-7405 to make an appointment.  The only exemption to taking this exam is if you have an ACT score of 21 or better within the past 5 years.

  2. Testing times are currently on the first and third Fridays of the month @ 9:30 am.

  3. You will need to be 15-20 minutes early, late arrivals will not be taken.

  4. There is a $25.00 fee (cash or money order, No Checks), and you must have a legitimate picture ID (such as a driver’s license).

  5. You should have your test results within 2 weeks.

  6. If you did not achieve the score required, you can use your test scores for another program as long as they meet the required scores.

  7. If you did not receive the required scores and wish to retest, you must do remedial studies with the ABLE Program. The amount of time it takes to prepare you to retest is based on individual needs. No retests can be done without remedial studies!!!

  8. If you passed the test you will receive an application packet. Fill out all of the required information and return it in person to one of our campuses.  Only Complete Applications will be accepted.

  9. After a second failed attempt, you must take an equivalent college level course in math or English in order to test again, or you can choose another program that your scores qualify for.

  10. Once the application is submitted, students will be enrolled in the program (space permitting) unless you are applying for Radiology Tech, On-Line Practical Nursing, or Sonography. (These programs have additional pre-entrance requirements, see their information on the web site.)

  11. Any program of 1100 hours or more is required to pay $100.00 deposit at the time that the application is submitted along with a $10 Registration fee. Both are non-refundable.
