This is a two year program that is broken down into Basic Video for the first year students and Advanced Video for second year participants. Eligible students (grades 10-12) will learn video and television production and will learn the use of cameras, history, technology, editing, production phases, and media history. Both classes are a combination of laboratory and classroom settings, and includes students working outside the classroom filming events such as athletic competitions, school functions, community events, etc. These classes are designed to prepare all students to work in the television and film production industry, videography, advertising, marketing, broadcast journalism, technology centers, and communication fields.
