Students in our machining and robotics program learn to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and program a variety of robots, mills, and lathes. They spend their time working with industry standard equipment like Motoman and Fanuc, as well as automation systems from Parker. Students also learn how to use common design software. As will all CCTC programs there is a strong emphasis on the skills and characteristics (teamwork, accountability, responsibility, ect.) they need to enter the modern workplace.
- Build and program VEX robots for competitions
- Designing and printing products using 3D printers.
- Develop Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) programs
- Program robotic arms for material handling
- Design and manufacture their own product using both 3D printers and CNC.
- OSHA (10 hour)

Michael Holschuh was awarded the 2018 AMT Work-Study Sponsorship from Toyota Motor Manufacturing and Bridge Valley Community & Technical College where he can earn as much as $40,000 per year while also earning his degree in Advanced Manufacturing.
