A hands-on, real world assignment, student centered educational experience for everyone. Students will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed as an entry level Information Technology technician or to further their education in a college IT program of their choosing.

This Program Puts Students on the Path to:

Students may further their education in a college IT program of their choosing. At which point they could either get into the network administration end with Cisco certifications or they may continue their server and/or workstation certifications with Microsoft. They could also dive into IT Cybersecurity as an option.

There are no prerequisites prior to entry. You must be self-motivated, ready to work, and enjoy Information Technology.
No. We concentrate on computer hardware, software, networks, and servers.
Junior year students start with Introduction To Information Technology. In the spring, you will have Introduction to Networking. Senior students start with Network Operating Systems (servers) in the fall semester and learn IT Cybersecurity in the spring. All students are required to complete a Senior Project along with a presentation made in class.
Mr. Ruriani has been in the Information Technology field for 20 years. His past accomplishments include: Lead IT Technician for a one to one laptop program (200 students) for a private school. IT Systems Administrator for a local transportation repair and supply company. He has also been a self-employed IT contractor.
